DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUMPS AND COMPRESSORS
PUMP:
- A Pump is a device, it is transferred to fluid at one place to another place
- A Pump is used to transport the fluid like water, oil and so on..
- The pump does not have any storage capacity to store the upcoming fluids.
- The pump is mostly used to increase the energy of an incompressible fluid.
- The pressure of the fluid may or may not changed the pump.
- While transferring or sending or moving the fluid the volume remains constant inlet or outlet.
- The pressure energy increase when the water is sending to any height.
- In domestic places pumps are used in the several places like washing machine, lifting water from the ground to tank, it is also used several systems like aeroplane, ships and so on..
- A Pump prize is cheaper.
COMPRESSOR:
- A compressor is a device which is used for to store the squeezed gas and supply whenever need.
- The Compressors is used to transport only gases.
- But the Compressors have a storage capacity and then it delivers to pipe whenever it required.
- The compressor is mostly used to increase the energy of an compressible fluid.
- The pressure of the fluid must change in the compressor.
- In compressor inlet and outlet is the different that means the volume does not remain constant.
- But here energy increases while compressing the fluid.
- The Compressors is also used in a domestic places like filling in the air into cycle or motor cycle, car and so on..
- But the compressor prize are very expensive.
